I stayed in June 2023 and I found the hotel rooms to be clean overall. Bedding was clean, as was the bathroom and supplied towels. Shower pressure was awesome. I did find some cobwebs in the ceiling-wall corners as others have mentioned but that can be managed easily with a quick vacuum by staff as part of their suite cleaning process, nothing to fret over. All needed amenities across the street. Considering the expensive nature of Tofino this is definitely a great value stay, will be back.
This “Cheap and cheerful” motel is just what you need if spending a few days on Tofino and don’t want to spend the kids inheritance.
We were surprised by the value of this motel. It's clean has kitchens with dishes and utensils (no cork screw though) large suites and good location. Front suites have good views. For a two star motel it gets five stars.
Don’t be fooled by the low reviews here. This place is genuinely a great place to stay. The rooms are super clean and the best to get what you pay for. Try it once and see for yourself. I am a hotel critique in general when it comes to staying. This motel is definitely a grab.
We rode in on our motorcycles, and the next morning we got up and the owner had washed our bikes and at night covered them with a sheet to keep the dew off! Rooms are basic but clean. view of the harbour was great.. highly recommended and will go back again.
The room was very cozy and clean. The location is fabulous. I love the common balcony outside the rooms where you can enjoy your coffee or drinks. I had a bit of an issue with the shower, but the owner/manager was very responsive, attended to it right away and fixed the issue. Coin laundry and parking is also very convenient. Every morning at 8 am the hotel staff brews fresh coffee for their guests in the coffee room near the office so that is a really nice touch. All in all a good experience without any hiccups.
Honestly obviously not the greatest place in the world but what do you expect from a motel. For the location and price in tofino absolutely worth it! Decent size flat and the views are absolutely stunning. Would absolutely recommend compared to the other prices in tofino.
Location is amazing. The view is breathtaking, make sure to ask for the mountain view. The rooms haven't been updated in quite some time. There is a kitchenette and flat screen TV though. Our bed is a little uncomfortable, but the price was right.
